Using Eavesy

Exporting & your files

Where Eavesy writes your sessions on disk, the folder format, and how to export everything.

With the Mac app, every session is written to a real folder on your disk — no lock-in, in formats any tool (or agent) can read.

The session folder

Each session becomes a folder containing:

  • summary.md — the structured brief in Markdown
  • transcript.md — the full transcript
  • meeting.json — metadata (participants, timestamps, action items)
  • the audio file

See the full folder format →

Point Eavesy’s save location at your Obsidian vault and sessions show up as notes you can link and tag — or point an agent straight at the folder.

Exporting

  • A single session — export to Markdown, JSON, audio, or a ZIP that mirrors the folder layout.
  • Everything — Settings → Privacy → Export everything produces a full archive of your account.
Your data

Your local folders are yours and stay on your disk. Deleting your account purges the cloud copies on a clear schedule but never touches your local files. See Privacy & your data.
