Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about bots, privacy, supported apps, languages, and your files.
Does Eavesy join my calls as a bot?
No. Eavesy captures the audio and screen on your Mac, so nothing appears in the participant list and no one is notified. It works the same on any calling app — and in person. How capture works →
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The browser recorder works with no account and no download. You only need an account to save sessions and use the Mac app.
Which apps does it support?
Anything that plays audio or shows on your screen — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack huddles, and in-person conversations. No extension or admin approval required. See all integrations →
What languages are supported?
Transcription handles dozens of languages automatically — you don’t need to set one. Transcripts & summaries →
Do you train AI models on my conversations?
No. Our AI and transcription providers run with no-train flags, and capture only happens while you’re recording. Privacy & your data →
Where are my files?
With the Mac app, every session is written to a folder on your disk as Markdown, JSON, and audio — formats you (and your agents) own. The session folder format →
Can my AI agent read my sessions?
Yes — that’s the point. Paste a brief into any agent, or point an agent with filesystem access at your Eavesy folder. Context for AI agents →
What does it cost?
The browser recorder is free. The Mac app and full library are part of Pro ($12/mo), which is rolling out now. Plans & billing →
