Getting started

What Eavesy is, how it works, and the fastest path to your first capture.

Eavesy is context capture for AI agents. It records your screen plus the audio your Mac is already playing and your microphone, transcribes it live, and turns the session into a structured Markdown brief you can paste into any AI agent — then saves everything as a real folder on your disk.

No bot joins your call. No one in the meeting sees a recorder. Everything is captured locally on your machine.

The two ways to use it

  • The browser recorder — record straight from eavesy.com with no account and no download. It captures your microphone, gives you a live transcript and an AI brief, and is the quickest way to try Eavesy. Sessions run up to 30 minutes. Learn more →
  • The Mac app — captures your screen and system audio for full-fidelity capture, unlimited length, sync, semantic search, and files written straight to your disk. Install it →
Tip

Not sure which to start with? Try the browser recorder to get a feel for it, then install the Mac app when you want to capture full calls with system audio.

The fastest path

  1. Open the browser recorder or download the Mac app.
  2. Press record and start your call, walkthrough, or conversation.
  3. Watch the live transcript and brief build as you talk.
  4. Press stop — your transcript, brief, and audio are ready to paste into your agent.

What you get from every session

  • A clean title and TL;DR
  • Decisions and owner-tagged action items
  • The complete, editable transcript
  • The audio, and a Markdown + JSON copy you own
